Before you approve a repair anywhere on Long Island, text me the shop's quote. I'll tell you if you're being ripped off.

Here's a sample estimate with my red pen on it. Tap a note to see what I caught.

A sample repair estimate marked up in red pen: the labor hours circled, a fluid flush struck out, a filter price circled and the total corrected to about $750.

Forty years in the car business, now working for you instead of the shop.

how it works

It all happens by text, phone or email. I never touch your car, so there's nothing to drop off and nobody to tip. You get a straight answer before you hand over a dime.

Text or email me a photo of the shop's estimate before you approve the work. Any shop, any car, anywhere on Long Island.

i audit it

I check every line: part prices against real-world costs, labor hours against standard times, and whether the repair is actually necessary.

questions

ripoffsHow do you know if a shop is ripping me off?

I check the quote line by line: part prices against what they really cost, labor against standard times, and whether the work is actually necessary. Then I tell you straight.

repairsDo you fix cars?

No. I don't pull wrenches, pick up cars or tow them. That's the point: I have zero conflict of interest, so my only goal is looking out for you.

priceWhat does it cost?

$50 for a one-time quote review or shop consultation. Or join a plan: $29.95 a month for one car, or $45 a month for up to three. Paid a year upfront, it's $323.46 or $486.

remindersWhat do you remind me about?

Your New York State inspection, your NY registration and your oil changes. I keep the dates in your file and tell you before each one is due.

areaDo you cover my town?

If it's on Long Island, yes. Nassau or Suffolk, I cover all of it, and everything happens by text, phone or email.

perksWhat are the member perks?
